Set up Cardinal Apps Multifactor using Microsoft Authenticator App

If you are a VPN user you MUST have your "Default sign- in method" Set to the Microsoft Authenticator.

1. Sign in with your UIW email address > Click Next > Click Next |
2. If prompted, Sign in with your UIW credentials | |

3. You will be prompted to start the setup process. Click "+ Add Method" |
|
4. Choose Authenticator App from the Drop Down Menu > Click Add |
5. Click Next | |

6. Move over to your Cell Phone and open up the App Store 7. Search Microsoft Authenticator > Install the App > Open the App |

8. Once the App opens, Agree to the Privacy Statement 9. On the next screen, Click on Scan a QR Code |
10. Return to your computer and complete the process 11. Click Next |

12. Aim your phone at the QR Code on the screen and let it Scan | |
13. Microsoft Authenticator will send a prompt to your phone to Approve | |

14. Approve the Pop up on Your Cell Phone > You will now see a green check that the Notification was Approved 15. Click Next |

16. Click "+ Add Method" Again to add a 2nd Method. 17. Choose Phone and Enter a Phone number to be used as the 2nd method for Authentication 18. Click Next |

19. Check your phone for the Code 20. Enter Code 21. Click Next 22. SMS will be verified > Click Next |
23. Your account is now Secure! > Click Done |
