Apps to Trim Videos and Recordings

Microsoft Stream/Clipchamp

It has a user-friendly interface to easily import video and audio content, trim videos, and save video in OneDrive for sharing. PowerPoint

You can trim videos within PowerPoint and then export them to save in OneDrive for sharing. PowerPoint is installed on all UIW devices issues to faculty and staff.

EchoVideo for Health Professions Schools

EchoVideo offers classroom video capture, student engagement tools, and analytics to maximize student participation. HPS instructors can use it to edit and trim videos after uploading content to their library.


Windows Solutions

Microsoft Photos App

Windows users can use the built-in Microsoft Photos app to edit and trim videos. This app is typically the default application for opening photos and videos in Windows.


macOS Solutions

QuickTime

QuickTime is the default video player on Macs that supports trimming videos.

iMovie

Mac users can also use iMovie to trim videos, after you import content. Although it typically comes pre-installed with macOS, you can also download it for free from the Apple App Store.
