Change Views in Microsoft Teams Meetings
MS Teams meetings allow participants to change the meeting view to (gallery, speaker, together mode, large gallery, and focus on content) for a more personalized experience.
Click on View and choose one of the layout options:

Gallery: By default, you will see everyone in a grid.

Speaker: When selected, the speaker becomes the center of attention.

Together mode: When selected, participants appear seated in a virtual scene.

Large gallery: This is only an option if there are more than 49 participants and more than 10 cameras ON.

Focus on content: Only an option if the participant shares the screen.

In-Depth Walkthrough
To personalize your meeting, 1) click on "View" in the top menu and 2) select a layout option.
Gallery View
This is the default view when joining a meeting and shows the participants in a grid view.
Presenter View
This view focuses on the active speaker and is convenient for presentations and lectures.
Together Mode View
This view places participants in a shared virtual scene, simulating a physical space such as a theater.
Note: To avoid unwanted scenario changes from participants in Together mode,
- Open Meeting Options,
- Choose Who can present?
- Select Specific people or Organizers and co-organizers.
Large Gallery View
This view focuses on video interaction and allows you to view up to 49 participants. It requires at least 10 participants with their camera feed ON to unlock.
Focus on Content View
This view is designed to minimize distractions by hiding meeting and chat controls from participants to focus on the visual content being shared.
