Ellucian Training Quick Start Guide
Modified on: Mon, 1 Jul 2024 9:20 AMThe Ellucian Training site is available to Ellucian customers and authorized Partner organizations, per the terms outlined in your organization's licensing, support, or partnership agreement(s) with Ellucian.
An active Ellucian Customer Center (or Ellucian Partner Community) user account is required to sign into the site. If you do not have an account, register for one at https://clientapps.ellucian.com/signup.

General Site Navigation
Main Menu
Use the main site menu , located in the upper left corner of the page, to quickly navigate the site’s primary pages. The menu includes quick links to the full site catalog, instructor-led courses, on-demand courses, and your personal training within the site.
The menu also includes quick links to on-demand training catalogs focused on specific business functions within your institution, such as Human Resources, Financial Aid, and Recruitment & Admissions.
Home Page
The home page includes a variety of information and can be used as your launch point into finding, purchasing, and taking training within the site.
Use the Attend a Virtual Course to browse our catalog of available instructor-led courses with sessions that are open for enrollment.
Use the Take On-Demand Training to browse our catalog of on-demand training. The catalog includes courses that are included
Your personal training dashboard is located at the bottom of the Home page and displays courses that you have (1) enrolled in but not yet started; (2) started and are in-progress; and (3) completed. Note that these courses can also be found using the My Courses and Learning Plans item on the main menu.
Search for Training
Site header Search bar
Use the search bar in the site header to perform a broad site-wide search based on a keyword, term, title, or partial title. Initial results are displayed as you type.
View all results to view the complete list of items that match your search term. Use the tabs at the top of the list to focus in on specific types of items.
The Course Content tab lists the lessons and materials that match your search term and are contained in courses. Selecting these will take you to the course and you can enroll or purchase it.
The Course Catalog tab lists the courses that match your search term. Selecting these will take you to the course and you can enroll or purchase it.
Use the Filters to further refine your search results based on attributes such as course type, pricing, primary audience, and level.
Secondary search bars
Many pages contain a secondary search bar. This limits the scope of the search to the content that is found on the page.
Use Categories to narrow the results by Ellucian product.

Purchase Training
The Ellucian Training site uses a shopping cart/checkout feature, like most other e-commerce websites. You must be signed in to complete the checkout process.
Different types of training are available for purchase, including enrollment in instructor-led courses (virtual courses), On-Demand Training subscriptions, and on-demand (e-Learning) courses. To purchase training, add it to your shopping cart. You can add multiple items to your cart.
To complete your purchase, use the Checkout function in the shopping cart. Be sure to FILL OUT and SAVE the required billing information and READ and AGREE TO the Terms and Conditions before you confirm your order.
Currently, Ellucian does not accept up-front payment by credit card. Your institution will be invoiced for your purchase based on the billing contact information that we have on record for your institution.
My Training Activity
The My Activities page displays a wide range of dashboard style information about your personal activity within the site.
Access this page from Helpful Links on the home page, or through the My Profile option in the main menu.
Use the Courses option display your “transcript”. This will include only activity that has occurred in this site. Please contact training@ellucian.com to request a complete transcript that includes activity prior to October 2020.
On-Demand Training Subscription
Your Subscription Details
If you have an active On-Demand Training subscription license, then you will see this reflected in the site header under Subscriptions: Active. Click this indicator to view additional information, including your subscription expiration date.
Identifying Subscription Courses
On-Demand courses that are included in your subscription are labeled with Purchased. You can enroll and take them immediately.
