Every question type in Poll Everywhere is limited to 255 characters. Any number beyond 255 will not be displayed when presenting your Poll Everywhere activity. You may have a question, or context description, such as a case scenario, that cannot be shortened to 255 characters.

A workaround recommended by Poll Everywhere is to compose your question in Microsoft Word, then take a screenshot and upload it into the title of your activity.

1. Open Poll Everywhere and create your activity or edit one you already have.
2. If your question title, or context description, is over 255 characters, open Word and type it out.
3. Use your screenshot recorder to capture the text, then upload the image into your activity by clicking the picture icon in the top right of the Title slot.
