Access Adobe Web Apps
Adobe offers a variety of applications that can be used directly from your web browser without the need to download and install large software. For example, you might need to edit a PDF from a different computer or create a quick video using Adobe Express. These apps can be accessed from almost any device with a web browser, and no installation is required. To access Adobe Apps from the web: Log in to Cardinal Apps and open Adobe Creative Cloud. Select the Waffle menu in the upper right to choose a web app. Step 1 Log in to Cardinal Apps and open Adobe Creative Cloud. Step 2 Select the Waffle menu and select the web application you would like to run.

Adobe Sign Overview
Adobe Sign, also known as Acrobat Sign, is a secure and legal electronic signature solution, which enables users to sign, send, and manage documents electronically. Users can upload various document formats, add signature and form fields, and invite others to sign via email. Features include: Streamlined Signing: Quick and easy electronic document signing, reducing paper usage and speeding up workflows. Secure & Compliant: Legally binding signatures with FERPA, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance for sensitive educational records. Automated Workflows: Simplifies approvals and routing, saving time and boosting efficiency. Real-Time Tracking: Monitor document status and generate detailed reports for transparency and accountability. Adobe Sign Availability All UIW faculty and staff can access Adobe Sign to create, manage, and send documents for eSignatures. Adobe Sign is available through Cardinal Apps. Participate in the Adobe Sign community forums if you have questions about using the app. Contact the UIW Help Desk if you cannot find it within Cardinal Apps. Adobe Sign Considerations Adobe Sign is only accessible through a web browser; there is no downloadable or installable version of the product. Use a document multiple times? Save it to your document library to reuse as many times as you need. Sending to multiple users can be tricky! Adobe Creative Cloud Overview
What is Adobe's Creative Cloud? Have you ever heard the phrase "I'll just Photoshop it out"? Or perhaps you've recently received a document asking for an eSignature? These concepts are all part of a larger suite of apps and web services called Adobe Creative Cloud. Adobe's suite, consisting of apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Spark, and more, offers professional-grade tools to help you learn new skills. You can use Creative Cloud applications for many of your projects, including photography, graphic design, video editing, UX design, drawing, painting, social media layouts, and beyond. Who Can Access Adobe Creative Cloud at UIW? Faculty and Staff All actively employed UIW faculty and staff have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Employees can use their UIW email to use Adobe apps and services on up to two devices at the same time. Most apps are available on the web through Cardinal Apps. Visit the Adobe Creative Cloud portal and help resources to select and download Adobe apps. Students Students can access Adobe Creative Cloud apps and services exclusively through the virtual computer lab (vLab) or on-campus computer labs. Students are unable to license and use Adobe apps and services outside these university spaces. Please note, that some departments and programs may offer or provide enrolled students access to Adobe applications upon entry.

Find Royalty-Free Images with Adobe Stock
Notice: Faculty and staff at UIW have a license for educational use as employees. Adobe Stock is unavailable for students. Adobe Stock offers a vast collection of quality, royalty-free stock photos that can be used for teaching and education projects. It is fully integrated with Creative Cloud, allowing users to easily access and license visual content directly within other Adobe applications. To access Adobe Stock: Log in to Cardinal Apps. Open Adobe Creative Cloud and log in with your UIW email. From the waffle menu in the upper right, find and select Stock. Open the All Apps menu if you do not immediately see the Stock app. Need more detail? Delve into the in-depth walkthrough below, complete with images and various notes for every step. Step 1: Log in to Cardinal Apps Log in to Cardinal Apps on your desktop and open the Adobe Creative Cloud app. Step 2: Sign In to Adobe Creative Cloud On the Adobe Creative Cloud sign-in page: Enter your @uiwtx.edu email address. This is the same email address you use to log in to Cardinal Apps. Select Continue. Note: Ignore the options to "Continue with [Google, Apple, and Facebook]" service options. Adobe apps and services are available to UIW employees specifically through their UIW email and login. Step 3: Open Adobe Stock After logging in to Adobe, Open the waffle menufound in the upper right of the webpage. Choose "Stock" from the drop-down menu. If you cannot locate "Stock" from the waffle menu, you can access it from the "All apps" menu. This menu contains all Adobe apps. Finished. You can now access a library of thousands of stock photos. Search by topic or name to get started. Adobe Stock FAQ Where can I learn more about Adobe Stock? To learn more about Stock, peruse the Adobe Stock tutorials from the Creative Cloud website. I've found a photo I want to use; how do I download it? Select the photo, click the License button to download and save the digital asset to your library. Am I going to have to pay for the content I download? No. If you are logged in as a UIW user and you see a 'License' button next to an image, it means there is no fee associated with it. However, if you are asked to pay a fee, it's possible that the item you're trying to access is not available as part of UIW's Adobe license. In such cases, you can contact the UIW Help Desk with specific inquiries to get more information. Can I download stock videos? No. Unfortunately, UIW's educational license does not include access to stock videos. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Adobe Acrobat Pro Overview
Acrobat Pro, also known as Acrobat DC, is a comprehensive PDF and e-signature solution that provides secure, efficient productivity and collaboration. It is the most robust PDF tool available at UIW, offering features such as: Editing and revising PDF files Converting PDFs to and from Word, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML, and image files Compressing PDF documents to reduce file size or merging multiple files into one PDF Securing and encrypting PDFs through password protection, user assignment, or end-to-end encryption Acrobat Pro Availability Adobe Acrobat Pro is available for all faculty and staff at UIW. Know there is a web version of Acrobat Pro, which does not have all the features as the desktop version. We recommend downloading Acrobat Pro desktop for Windows and macOS. Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge users can install an Acrobat web extension for quick access to the web version's feature set. For help installing software, contact the UIW Help Desk.
